Its really quite simple you need to have a valid physical on file with Coach Pelkey (please only hand in the physicals to him, that way if he loses it, he will take the blame) AND you need to be passing 5 out of 7 courses in accordance to the Stafford County Middle Athletic Handbook. Most coaches at our school will require stiffer more stringent grades in order to participate. You are a student first, and the stress is on that before the athlete comes into play.

The tryout dates will be listed for each individual sport and during that time if you have a physical and have the proper grades you are allowed to tryout for sports here at GMS. Please make sure the physical is fully filled out, all 4 pages. The physical cannot be any "older" then May 1st, 2007. The physical is good for all sports throughout the year here at GMS.

If you have a Stafford County Schools ID, you and a guest are allowed in for free.

All sports except for Track and Softball require an admission at the front gate.

The "B" game or "B" quarter will start at or about 3:30pm. The other game will follow hopefully at 4:00pm. The games usually get over by 5:30pm at the latest. Students please have rides available at the circle at or before that time.
